BourneFree Volunteer’s Week article

Thanks to an extremely generous donation, we were able to place a full-page article in the June edition of BourneFree, both the magazine and online format. We explained our aims, highlighted some of our amazing team activities, and explained just how many amazing ways there are that volunteers could help us do even more to create a more accessible Eastbourne! The Next 40 Years – Our Charter for Freedom!

Eastbourne Access Group are thrilled to announce the publication of their new Disability Charter, publically acknowledging that every disabled person has the right to full participation, in every part of life, as a Citizen. Those inalienable rights, laid out in the Social Model of Disability, are still ones however, that have to be fought for.
